(Chapter One) "Seeds from Another World"

In a quiet street surrounded by luxurious villas under the cold moonlight...

A tall man, dressed in a luxurious formal suit, walked confidently, followed by a group of men with serious expressions. But all eyes were on him—the man walking in the center. It was clear from his appearance and presence that he was unlike the others... He was their leader, their undisputed boss.

While speaking in a calm voice but one with undeniable weight, he said: "I will take an heir... a baby. It must be young enough... so that it never knows it was adopted."

Before he could finish his words, he suddenly stopped.

On the side of the road, under a dim streetlamp, there was a baby girl, wrapped in a simple blanket, sleeping peacefully. She didn’t cry, didn’t move... just breathing quietly as if she were waiting for someone specific.

The man approached slowly, his eyes glowing with curious suspicion. "Why here? In an abandoned street?"

One of his men said in astonishment: "Sir, it seems luck is with you today... You were just talking about adoption, and here she is. I think her family abandoned her."

The man bent down and gently lifted her in his arms, then muttered in a cold tone: "Heartless family... how could they throw away an angel like this? What if street dogs had eaten her?"

The other man replied with a confused smile: "Sir, it doesn’t matter now... Perhaps... this is your fate, and hers."

The leader paused for a moment, then looked at the baby again, as if something had awakened inside him. "Fate?" he whispered mockingly, "I don’t believe in such nonsense. There is no such thing as fate... it's just coincidence."

But his eyes didn’t hide that look... the look of someone who felt that this "coincidence" carried more than it seemed.

One of his companions said eagerly: "Surely the lady will be so happy to see the baby, especially since..." But his voice suddenly cut off.

"Silence!" shouted another man sternly, his face radiating warning. "Are you mad? Do not mention the lady... not even whisper her name."

The leader looked at them calmly and said: "We’ve reached my house. You’re tired, go back. I’ve canceled today’s meeting."

  They responded quickly: "Yes, sir."

As they left, one man whispered to another: "Why did you silence me?"

His companion responded quietly, staring into the shadows around them: "Because I want you to return home safely. Never talk about the lady. The man before you... opened his mouth, and he was never the same."

The night grew heavier, and the air was filled with secrets.

  ...

In a luxurious villa, lit by soft light, a woman with silky black hair and eyes like the night sea sat browsing her phone, though her gaze seemed distant.

The door opened quietly, and the man entered, carrying the sleeping baby in his arms.

He spoke softly as he approached her: "I’ve returned... and I’ve brought a surprise."

The woman stood up quickly, and when she saw the baby, her expression froze for a moment. "Is... is this...?"

(Ji Ho) nodded, smiling calmly: "Yes. I found her. They left her in the street, but she’s sleeping, in good health."

(Yuna) approached and embraced him, her eyes glistening with tears mixed with surprise. "Thank you... you still love me, even though I couldn’t give you a child..."

(Ji Ho) replied, looking into her eyes with sincerity: "Yuna, I don’t care whether you can bear children or not. I love you as you are. Your flaws? If I gathered all the flaws in the world, you’d still be the one I want by my side."

And in that moment, amid the silence of the night and the moonlight, a new fate was born... A fate that wasn’t expected, beginning with a mysterious story, and a sleeping baby... in the arms of someone who didn’t yet know that this child would change everything.

After a moment of (Yuna) holding the baby, she felt something strange, like a faint warm energy flowing from the baby’s body to her heart. It wasn’t normal warmth... more like a quiet pulse emanating from an unknown depth.

(Yuna) lifted her gaze to (Ji Ho), who was watching her in silence, but she whispered as she stared at the baby’s face: "Ji Ho... did you feel something? Like... there’s an unfamiliar energy in her body?"

He froze for a moment, then said in a low voice: "Actually... yes. But I didn’t want to worry you."

In that moment, the atmosphere around them changed. A feeling of heaviness, as if the world had suddenly gone silent to listen.

In another realm, in a sky cracked with a glowing divine light, a woman with celestial features stood. Her eyes glowed with pure gold, and her black hair flowed like a waterfall. She was watching through a dimensional mirror what had happened at (Ji Ho) and (Yuna)'s villa.

She muttered in a sad angelic voice: "My daughter... you’ve arrived safely. But they must not discover her truth now. She’s not ready yet... the world here will not show mercy."

In the background, mysterious whispers rose, voices of other rulers arguing:

"She did it, (Alytha), she sent the only heir away!" "But why?!" "She fears that the great powers will take the child... the child who is supposed to rule all the worlds."

One of the rulers smiled and said, but no matter what (Alytha) did, or where she sent her daughter, we will find her, no matter how much time passes. The place grew quiet after the ruler’s confident words (Kira).

The image returned to the human world. And that night, while (Yuna) placed the baby in a soft bed, the baby’s eyes opened for a moment, revealing a faint glow in a color never seen before... a mixture of deep blue and black, with a touch of silver like stars, but it quickly disappeared. The baby’s eyes seemed as if the calm night sky and the galaxy had merged in her gaze.

But she quickly closed her eyes again.

(Ji Ho) whispered: "Yuna... I feel like this baby looks strangely like us."

(Yuna) smiled, looking at the little one with passion: "Perhaps... but whatever she is, she’s now our daughter."

  ---

  Ten years later...

In the heart of Seoul, where towering skyscrapers rise and neon lights illuminate the streets, (Ji Ho) lives, a distinguished businessman. As the head of the largest electronics company in Korea, he is considered one of the country’s most successful businessmen. But this is the image everyone sees. The truth, known only to a few, is that (Ji Ho) leads the most powerful criminal organization in Korea.

Despite the apparent calm in his life, he is engaged in an unspoken struggle with his close friend, (Lee Seon), the leader of another criminal organization. The two share the top spot in the criminal world, sometimes cooperating, sometimes competing. While their friendly relationship remains out of the public eye, behind it lies a delicate balance, governed by mutual interests.

On one quiet night, (Ji Ho) was carrying out his usual work.

In a dark room lit by a faint lamp hanging from the ceiling, (Ji Ho) sat in a luxurious black leather chair. Though the years had passed, his features hadn’t changed much, only growing sharper and more attractive. In front of him, a man was shackled to a metal chair, his body covered in fresh bruises and cuts, blood dripping onto the cold concrete floor.

Behind (Ji Ho), three men stood in dark suits, their faces stone-like, as if they were statues used to witnessing death.

(Ji Ho), exhaling smoke from his cigar slowly: "So... will you finally confess who incited you to betray me and steal the information? Or should we continue this pleasant introduction session?"

The shackled man smiled cynically, spitting blood at his feet: "Torture me as you like, you won’t get anything... in fact, I’m starting to enjoy it. Seems I’ll miss this feeling when I die."

(Ji Ho)’s expression changed in an instant. He removed the cigar from his mouth, stepped forward slowly until he reached the bound man, then extinguished the burning end of the cigar in the man’s hand, causing him to scream in muffled pain.

(Ji Ho), in a voice low like a hiss, whispered in his ear: "Let’s see how long you can hold out before that sealed mouth of yours breaks..."

  And suddenly...

A sharp squeal echoed in the room, followed by soft, yet confident steps approaching from behind the metal door.

The door opened slowly, revealing a ten-year-old girl. Her long black hair reflected the pale light, and her eyes—an enchanting mix of dark blue and black—carried an eerie calmness that was uncharacteristic for her age.

She wore a black dress adorned with dark pink roses.

She showed no surprise at the sight—no blood, no screaming, nor the man tied up.

She stood at the door, hands on her hips, and said in a rebellious but strangely cold childish tone: "Father... when will you finish this nonsense?"

She took two steady steps forward and continued: "I want to go with mom to the mountain, and you promised you’d take us yourself. So, end this interrogation nonsense quickly."

A heavy silence filled the room for a moment... even the three men behind (Ji Ho) didn’t dare lift their heads.

(Ji Ho) smiled wryly as he slowly turned his head toward her: "Sera... didn’t I tell you not to enter this section?"

The little girl shrugged innocently: "I got bored of waiting... and this man doesn’t look interesting, he screams too much."

(Ji Ho) chuckled softly, then gestured to his men: "Get rid of him, and prepare to leave."

(Lee Sera) looked at the shackled man, her eyes briefly shimmering with a strange faint light, then whispered as she left: "Looks like your mom didn’t teach you how to choose who to betray..."

And for a fleeting moment, the man in the chair felt a cold shiver run down his spine, as if his soul had been touched by something not of this world.

The door closed behind the little girl again, and a foreboding silence filled the room.

  To be continued...
