4.19 Player Analysis

Isran couldn’t remove the smile from her lips even if she tried. Since she was done with any challenges for the day she was allowed to join the crowd. She wasn’t only hoping to see the women that she lived with but also watch the next matches.

She had no idea what the next challenge was and she wanted to note the people that could pose as a risk and see what other pyers were up to.

Elysi hugged her immediately they met, and Isran smiled down at her, hugging her back. At that moment she realised the previous night was the first time she had not spent the night with Elysi. The first time they had been apart since they met. The same went for Phaedra and Calliope. The farthest apart they had been was in separate tents. That was probably one of the reasons sleep had been so hard to come by.

The stands were full and so Isran took Elysi’s seat while she pced her sheep girl on her p. She gnced down at Phaedra and smiled at the blue-haired woman. She liked Phaedra's smile. It was reserved, like that of what you would imagine was royalty.

Red was like a little hyperactive dog, messing up her hair and moving around erratically. Even Leopold was pleased to see her. The rat snuggled into her arm that was on Elysi’s p.

Calliope was a bit more focused on the match below, but she did send a dazzling smile Isran’s way. As they waited for the next match to start, a few people came up to congratute her or give her flowers. Isran thanked them nervously and kept the items with Phaedra.

The next match was between team eight and team seven.

It took much longer than her’s had, the teams seemingly evenly matched. Almost every single adventurer was engaged in combat, most of the not even running for the fgs.

About ten minutes in an elf won his bout with a human man and rushed for the enemy fg, securing a win for team eight.

The next match between teams one and six went simirly to Isran’s. Team six had almost all their members rushing into enemy territory to acquire the fg while team one stood their ground in a slightly different formation than Isran’s team.

Two very fast animalkin adventurers zoomed past enemy attacks and spent less than five seconds whenever they were forced to engage in combat.

Team three versus team four was the st match of the day. The sun was going down by the time it started, Isran’s internal clock telling her it was five pm.

It was by far the longest match. Simir to the second match each team had no pn. They attacked each other like they were on a battlefield. Every time someone got close enough to get the fg they were either attacked or pulled away.

The crowd never stopped cheering as the time ticked away. Several of the fighters had colpsed. Tired from the prolonged fight and some were badly injured, even with the spell protecting them.

Three people remained standing forty-five minutes in, and while two fought the st free gnome from team four crawled towards the blue fg before securing their win.

After the st match was over, the gnome spoke up again, his voice being projected through the arena.

“We have concluded the first day of the games, pyers of teams five, seven, six, and three are advised to leave before twelve midnight tonight. Teams two, eight, one, and four you have secured your pce in the next challenge. Thank you all for coming and we hope to see your support tomorrow for the next challenge.”

With that, the people in the stands filed out a few more congratuting Isran as they passed.

Isran sat quietly with her girlfriend in her p and the other two women she cared about beside her, their heads leaned against her.

They of course eventually had to say their goodbye.

  “You were amazing today.”

Isran smiled at Elysi, she had walked them to the exit and was saying her goodbyes along with other adventurers. Alden had caught up to them as they walked there.

“Yes, I was. Thank you for coming.”

“Of course.” Elysi kissed her one more time before Calliope hugged Isran, more so hugging her legs.

  “Congratutions.”

Isran smiled and patted the shorter woman’s head.

  “Thank you.”

Phaedra tucked some blue locks behind her ear and with a light blush. “You were very good… I c—can’t wait to see you tomorrow.”

Isran blushed slightly at the forwardness of her words.

“I can’t wait to see you too.”

Red ruffled her hair a little more and Leopold tried to hide in her shirt, but eventually, they all had to leave.

Isran felt her eyes sting but fought with every ounce of power to keep her tears in.

“God you are such a romantic.”

Isran smirked at Alden as she turned around, walking with her friend back to the barracks.

“Maybe romance will spruce up your life some.”

Alden rolled his eyes. “Yeah, sure. I hope I never look as sad as you do when my partner leaves. God, it's like some one killed your puppy.”

Ignoring her friend's teasing Isran decided to focus on the challenge tomorrow. Alden had said they should train a bit and afterward she was going to keep reading and thinking about better maneuvers she could take and what challenge they would face the following day.

They bumped into Jorn on their way, the dwarf leaving.

  “Hey!” He called cheerily.

Isran smiled down at him. “Hey.”

“Gods you were so good today. That throw and you! Diving for the fg! I feel honored to have competed against you.”

  Alden nodded. “No hard feelings?”

Jorn ughed. “Oh, none at all. They gave me an acorn worth of gold for losing. I’m more than content.”

After gushing about being able to fight in front of a rge crowd, Jorn finally said goodbye and left Alden and Isran to finish their journey back to their housing.

Four images five chapters guess what will come on the st day?
