Isran sighed and sat beside Elysi in the tent. They were in the st dungeon they would be camping in before they reached Thalbrin. It was a sewer system, very much like the dungeon she woke up in.
Phaedra and Calliope were in a second tent. They had looted some dead bodies while trekking through the Baren Wastends and found a good tent among them. The first few days they had been taking turns with the tent. The fatigue was catching up with all of them.
Elysi was also still upset at her. Isran smiled down at her sleeping girlfriend. She should’ve probably been keeping watch but so close to Thalbrin the chances of encountering monsters on the first floor of the dungeon were next to none. She was willing to take that gamble.
Isran kissed Elysi’s fluffy hair before opening her status sheet and her level ten notification. Unlike previously where she was given one attribute point every even-numbered level, at level ten she received five attribute points and was given the option for a new skill, just like Phaedra had said. It seemed skill choices were given every multiple of five and attribute points every multiple of two. It kinda sucked that she didn’t get anything when she hit other numbers but it was fine. Being picky about how the system of leveling-up operated would yield her no results.
They had encountered a few stray monsters higher up into the baren wastends and some in some dungeons they had camped. Isran was actually quite gd that she had reached level ten before they left the dungeons. A new skill made up for the shit they had gone through over the st few days… a little. Food was next to done. The rationing they had to resort to to feed Calliope was not as bad, but if they stayed any longer, it would get worse.
Isran decided she was going to take Elysi out on a date when they got back. She wouldn’t apologise for keeping her safe but she could at least show the sheep girl how much she cared about her. In a less porising way.

Isran bristled a bit at the second option. She had been doing well not thinking about the orc she had killed. The skill kind of came out of left field. But to be honest, all the skill choices were amazing. She had gone through some grueling shit so it was most certainly fair but it was still insane how good the options seemed especially compared to the previous ones. It sucked that she couldn’t repce skills though, trading in her endurance stat increase so she could take two skills from the selection would be amazing.
Isran paused. Her name was Isran the Great and her css was called Knight of Greatness… maybe she could try again.
Isran opened her skill menu. A menu she had actually never tried to open before. She usually just brought up each individual skill. She was fairly surprised it worked, though she shouldn’t have been. Phaedra had been telling her more about how the system worked.

Isran celebrated silently when it worked. It seemed she couldn’t just toss away skills but she could certainly repce them.
The RUTHLESS skill would never be touched, and if it were up to her Isran would’ve deleted it from her menus. Double damage was certainly amazing but Isran wanted nothing to do with skills linked to her killing people.

Isran frowned at her weird health point. Lower stats seemed to affect the amount of health points she had. Though she still had the extra ten from before she removed the stat increase skill.
With her armor, the endurance stat wasn’t as pressing as other stats. She had been putting a lot into strength and her sword had gotten lighter but she still felt it needed some more.
She didn’t think dexterity was all that important for her at the moment but energy might help with how much she could do before she got tired. With those thoughts in mind, Isran put two points into strength, two into speed, and two into energy.
