Though they were all big and tall sets, they did not fit Jade anymore. Some of the weapons were intrinsically made with many details, one giant double headed axe had a wavy patterned over its body, swords had beautiful scabbards, and even though the dust from unused years covered them, the bdes still shined.

The way to the woods was the most tranquil walk in nature I could have taken. The grass fields spread all around the pins, marking the scenery with a yellow and orange tinge of a warm climate, but the trees in the forest were a mix between primarily rge pine-like trees and a variety of more contorting and thin types of wood. Almost like someone had taken a tempered climate forest and mixed it with a savanna aesthetic.
On the fields there wasn't much animal life. The occasional rabbit or hare hopping and searching for food, but on entering the forest we could hear all types of birds, rodents, and other critters. Did that deer right there have six legs?. ((Love the animal designs of the game!.))

A mini map appeared in front of me, and I could see yellow dots in it. The two blue dots close together were me and Jade. The yellow dots were mostly spread out, but I could see a concentration of about 12-16 dots up to our right.
“Jade, they are that way”. I said pointing my arm.

With that we took a slow and most silent approach to the herd. There were a total of 16 pigs, all of them had colts of bck/brown fur. At a gnce I couldn't tell which were truly female, but the males did have four big, pointed tusks growing from the sides of their mouths.And the matriarch was in the middle of them, the biggest boar in size. Her fur was draping like a mop of hair from her back and covered her side. She had two tusks on her and muscles rippling through her figure. How are we gonna kill that?

I had no useful skills in this situation and the dagger would only stop them when they reached me. The other two were still coming though, Jade, having ripped the spear out of the female, put herself in front of me and met the first boar’s head the same way she did before, but this time the second hit her on the side, unbaling her and ripping her clothes. She fell to the ground, but got up quickly and in an impressive maneuver, used the first boar’s carcass on the spear like a giant meaty club to hit the second. He flew through the air and hit a tree, seeing my opportunity I punctured my bde in the skull once again, killing it for good. Rhea had also finished her opponent, and the other boars had run away from the battle.

Now I had very important decisions to make, which skill to get and which stat to put a point on.

The window of options in front of me was like looking at a giant maze. The first time the tab opens, there is no filter active, so I can see all skills in the game, and that is a lot. Filter by css: Tamer.
The screen changed, now from a singur point in the middle a circle of skills spread into connecting roots of evolutions. I read in the forums those were not only better skills for purchase, but also subcsses you could achieve.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, only the innermost ring was avaible to me. And of those there were four skills not faded out, which meant I could purchase them.

Okay, the mount one is out of the question because I do not have other Tames besides Rhea, plus the parts I can’t read. Summon Companion is a must, it’s too convenient to pass. But Cry can make me better in battle and Aroma will help me tame more creatures. Hmm… ((In my opinion it is better to take Aroma. The more animals at our disposal, the better options we get.))
“But what about this Breeder Tree? Is it a good Skill path to follow?”. (( Only one way to find out.))
And so I spend my points on Summon and Aroma.
The status point I will spend in Charisma, It’s the best choice since my skills will rely on it in the future.
Now I should focus on finding another animal I can tame. (( Main objective set! Maybe go back to the woods and find on of those boars, they seen like a good tame))

Turns out using a bow in this game is harder than it looks. I had pyed games with bows and arrows before, but here there was no auto aim, no guideline, nothing. So comprehensively, I missed most shots on the tree I was torturing as my target. After a good dose of frustration, I just gathered the arrows and entered the woods. My target was a boar, preferably one that did not want to kill me. Rhea was once again pying scout in the trees, she seemed so free and comfortable flying around. The mini map showed many scattered yellow dots, but not a group like yesterday. I’ll just have to look the old fashioned way.
Most of the dots were small critters and birds, one was another deer with sex legs, and one was a small cat who ran too fast.
I was almost giving up when I heard a sniffing sound close to some bushes to my left. Crouching and approaching slowly, I saw what I was looking for. A medium size-probably a juvenile-boar with a bck shiny and spiky fur covered its body, two prominent tusks present on its face. I couldn’t tell if it was female or male from my position but that didn't matter, I took the berries stashed in my inventory and made a deliberately loud movement.
