narrated by the Goddess of Darkness
We began the assault. The only thing I desired was to kill Jason.
He possessed a terrifying power—truly the only ability that had ever frightened me.
Strangely, it was Jason who came to me, so I didn’t even have to exert myself.
I drew my scythes and dashed toward him.
I got very close and tried to strike—but suddenly, I found myself in an entirely different place.
That was the reason I hated his ability.
I hated him and his ability, he was messing with me like he was having fun, having fun by messing with me
ME the god of darkness, he should be afraid, he must be in fear of ME
I heard Jason’s voice behind me say,
“You look strange. Are you even human?”
I turned toward him and tried to stab him, but he vanished—again, just like every time.
I started to get more and more angry
He kept doing it over and over.
Eventually, I stopped moving and said,
“No, I’m not human. I am a demon of darkness—that’s why my mouth resembles a shark’s.”
He started laughing and replied,
“I figured. Now let’s fight seriously.”
He ceased using his portals and came at me, wielding a massive hammer.
Every time I tried to stab him, he’d teleport me to another location and then strike—
He attacked me with the hammer so hard smashed me to the ground
I got up fast and stabbed his leg, he smiled and kicked me in the stomach.
He was fast, so fast.
I started to look around me to see better, in that moment he appeared in front of me, I stabbed his arm so fast, it was the only part of him I could touch in that moment, he grabbed my arm and punched me on the face, kicked my leg nearly broke it.
I stabbed him in the stomach but he kept smiling like he never felt a thing, he punched me again and again till he broke my jaw
I fell to the ground bleeding
he mastered his power well, but his strength was the strongest thing he had.
He said with a huge smile,
“Unfortunately, my ability isn’t infinite. I’ll either get exhausted, kill myself, or end up trapped in the Eternal Void if I use it too long. So, I’ll fight without it.”
I felt like he was lying, but he got no reason to lie, the thing that made me so angry.
I summoned hounds from the shadows, and they started attacking, they will give me some time to recover.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
Jason started getting tired, the hounds biting him as he killed dozens of them.
I ran and started stabbing him so fast. I run, stab him one time and run away and do it.
Any Time he tries to attack me a hound of mine takes the damage.
Our battle lasted more than thirty minutes.
After half an hour, he collapsed to his knees,
so I moved in, planning to behead him before I collapsed myself.
But then, he started to pray.
I laughed and said,
“Do you think your gods will save you now? I am the only god here!”
Suddenly, I felt something gripping me.
I turned around—and saw arms, many arms, grabbing me.
I couldn’t use my power. I couldn’t move.
But I could hear—
I heard Jason praying:
“O Goddess of space, I offer you my life and challenge my time.
I fight for my death, so grant me the strength
to protect my family.”
Then, his fists began to change.
Tiny, strange portals began to cover them.
The arms vanished, and he stepped forward.
It was strange—but I would not fall.
I AM a god—I AM the true god.
He came closer and threw a punch.
I saw his face—
it was the only sight in my life that truly struck fear into me.
I didn’t block. I dodged it just in time.
Then I saw it—his punch, his fist.
The tree vanished.
Anything that touched the portal on his hand was sucked into the Eternal Void.
My body began to tremble.
The sight of him slowly walking toward me
was the most terrifying thing I had ever seen.
I began summoning swords of shadow from the ground—
without a plan, without a single thought.
I’m afraid. I’m panicking.
I didn’t know what to do.
I gathered my strength, grabbed my scythes, and stepped toward him.
I said,
“A man-to-man battle. No escape. No tricks.
We fight face to face until one of us dies.”
He raised his arms, and the fight began.
He moved fast—
I knew that one wrong move would cost me my head,
but I had no other choice.
He was fighting good, really good, but not fast enough.
I cut off his hand with my scythe—
but he showed no pain.
he was smiling.
He kicked my left arm, breaking it.
I summoned my strength and coated it with darkness,
forming a spear-like shape on my right arm.
Then I thrust it into Jason’s body.
I looked at his face—
he was laughing and said,
“You’re mine now.”
I tried to pull my arm out—
but it was stuck.
So, I cut it off quickly.
I tried to run—
but I collapsed, screaming in pain.
Jason approached, my arm still stuck in his body.
He was laughing and said,
“Didn’t we agree? A man-to-man fight—no escape.”
His face, his face was something Els, he is a madman, a crazy god. A crazy man, I fear him…..I fear him, in front of him I am nothing
I was crying and yelling, I felt my robe getting wet... I peed myself in fear, I started crawling backwards while crying and screaming "Please leave me, please I won't do anything bad anymore just leave me, I will do anything for you just leave me, just tell me what do you want and I’ll do it, anything please.
Then, he grabbed my head, and said with a huge smile "I want you dead"
and crushed it—until it burst.
Suddenly, I found myself in a pitch-black place.
A figure was approaching.
He wore a black cloak and carried a scythe.
He came closer and tried to kill me.
I leapt up and summoned shadow hounds—
but as they emerged,
they turned and devoured me.
The pain—
it was the worst pain I had ever felt.
I couldn’t move.
All I could do was scream.
Then I saw his eyes—
they were red.
That’s when I realized who he was.
I screamed,
“It’s you! This wasn’t part of our deal!”
He walked away and said,
“I don’t make deals with the dead.”
And then,
he left me to be devoured alive—by my own hounds.
For the first time in my life,
I cried—
and screamed.
