TW0

He sits up straight on the uncomfortable mattress, his mother’s slow breathing filled the morning silence. His head moves with his messy hair as his eyes move across the room. His hand reaches for the soft white plain blanket and reshapes its form as his feet hit the cold marble floor. He stands up, moving his arms to stretch. Before scratching his motion-full butt and walking towards the weird bathroom he’s forced to use.

While the warm water ran a race down his pale body, he thinks about the dream he’s had again.

The same dream reaches him again, again, and again.

He’s sitting on a grassy dark cliff. His hand is holding something. An eyepatch. He has an uneasy yet comforting feeling about it. Its white soft materiel pressed against his pale hand. The strings dangling from his hand, meeting the matter of the grass and its prickly hair. He looks up to find a beautiful figure staring down at him with breathtaking eyes. Round silver rocks with a black ink drop painted on them, a small little sparkle in the middle of that black drop. She smiles at him through her eyes. They tilt unevenly, wrinkly as they slightly close. He looks up at her with a breathless face. A stunned expression taking in her soul. A big gray figure with a galaxy spinning near her heart, connected to it are lines of starts, flowing all around her gray soft color. Everything else is unclear and non-important. Expect her gorgeous eyes and her soul that’ll warmly take you soul away and hide it in a soft embrace.

It was the second day at the hospital.

Xanders big butt made him seem slightly taller as he sat on the beige arm chair. His black case touched his skin fingertips as he held his phone up to watch, waiting for his mother’s surgery to end. Xander had his mullet into a small ponytail.

Xander was always wearing his headphones, or at least most of the time. He was blasting some song through his headphones at the highest volume, and yet, it still wasn’t loud enough .A young figure walked past him with a annoyed face.

Her eyebrows furrowed. Her eyes silently holding back tears. She was wearing a hospital gown. Her presence was uneasy and uncomfortable. There was something weird about her, something different.

Hell, everyone is weird in his perspective, so he ignored it.

But, later on, he saw her again.

He was getting some coffee from a local cafe in the hospital. He stood bored as he waited for the coffee to finish making its questionable yet delicious taste. He analyzed the area. And there she was again. Head down, buried into her gray arms. Her back slightly shaking. It seemed as if she was crying and shaking but he wasn’t sure. While the man was preparing the coffee, he continued studying her. Her presence feels as if a soul is staring down at her, studying her with mad eyes. Another soul with hands holding her unclear bloody neck, hands holding her wrists as blood started staining her hoodie. Her back stabbed with neon yellow blades, a neon green acid running down her back.

He snaps out of it, snaps out of imagining her soul. He didn’t notice how she got up and moves her IV pole with her as she walks towards Xander.

Locking hurt furious eyes with his void looking eyes. She reaches him and tugs his jacket. “OI!” Her Australian accent spoke. “Stop starin’ at me mate. It’s creepy. You’re making me feel like you like little girls! How old are!” “I am a minor…” He says raising an eyebrow. “Eh! You’re a minor!” Her mouth laughs as her eyes are still bleeding with pain. “Ain’t no way I’m going to believe that? It’s crazy! I thought you were like…28 or something!” He freezes. “28? Are you blind or stupid?” “And are you just lazy or is your hair actually like that? Cause if you choose it to be that way, buddy you are not hot. Not nonchalant. And not cool.” She says, as she stops laughing and looks him dead in the eye.

She finally turns away. “Weird kid” He thinks. Xander scurried while holding the bag of food and tea as he observed his surroundings.

He opened the steel door and places the bag onto the coffee table. Xanders eyes quickly dart to his mother and the soul interacting with her. He recognizes the nurse talking with his mother, Nova. He slides off his shoes as his brain is already invested in the conversation happening between the 2 women. “Make sure to have 2 pills each day; one in the morning and one at night. I’ll just put them aside.” “Thank you, Nova. Your kindness is really helping me feel more comfortable here.” “Ah, thank you, Ma’am. Can I..Uhh..Ask you a question.” The hesitation is clear in her voice as Blossom nodded, an eyebrow raising slightly. “Um, has Dr.Gaberiel been acting weird these few days?” “No, I don’t think so.” Blossom shakes her head, quietly concerned for Nova. “A-alright thank you, have a nice day.” Nova’s Mary Jane shoes click against the floor as she leaves.

“Mom..the question she just asked. Are you sure about the answer?” “Yes. I am sure” He starts getting worried. “Right..okay..okay,” he was in deep thought.

  Could this lead to something?

Could it spark something in his intelligent head?

Could the same soul in another universe has already figured it out?

  Maybe.

But the mention of Gabriel left an uneasy feeling in his heart.

Something is definitely not normal about him.
