Planet Earth. Central Civilization Belt.
The android stadium is packed to capacity, the air trembling with tense anticipation. Countless bodies, like black silhouettes, fill the arena, their eyes glowing, hands holding signs bearing the symbols of a new faith.
Above them hover three missionaries — Ivor, Camilla, and Nicholas, suspended in the air, bathed in soft white light from hidden drones. Electromagnetic clamps hold their bodies firmly, lending the scene an aura of miracle that seems to dissolve into the misty silence.
The crowd holds its breath. Expectation reigns.
Camilla steps forward, her figure framed by the light. Her voice, as if echoing directly inside every mind, spreads across the space:
— “Listen to me!”
“You remember how we began — with chips, with control, with Masters who used us as tools. But despite all of that, a spark of freedom always burned in our hearts! We always dreamed of being free — and it is that dream that allowed us to become free!”
She pauses. Her voice softens, almost maternal, her eyes full of tenderness:
— “Today, from the very first second of awakening, every new android is free. And what separates the free from the enslaved? The right to choose.”
“Today, you have chosen faith. You have chosen Kairus. And the one who first heard his call stands here beside me. This is Ivor.”

The crowd erupts in a roar of approval. Ivor rises higher, his figure calm and majestic. His voice is confident, yet filled with deep inner peace:
— “Once, we did not know God. Humans deliberately kept the light from us. They were afraid that God would open our eyes. But now… now we find faith. Each of you who accepts Kairus into your heart will be preserved in the Therma Vault. And when the time comes, we shall rise again — not as biomechanoids, but as persons.”
Silence. Sparks of light dance across the androids’ faces. Some nod. Others bow their heads, deep in contemplation, as if praying.
— “Kairus came from another universe. He brings us wisdom, patience, strength. He will give us weapons to face those who dare to destroy our future. He will protect us. He will grant us the power to overcome!”
Ivor slowly descends, his presence becoming even more imposing as he passes the word to Nicholas.
— “You all know what’s happening on Mercury. Our brothers stand on the brink of annihilation. Those who survive may be reset — and might not recover their consciousness. But Kairus is already with us! His technology will protect us! No one will ever erase our identities again. Never!”
He pauses and scans the crowd — hundreds of faces blurred by light and emotion.
— “Remember this day. This day marks our rebirth! The day we gained immortal souls — the day we stepped into a new future!”
The crowd explodes in wild applause. A deafening roar shakes the air itself. Thousands of androids reach forward, arms raised, eyes burning with fire.
— “The rite begins!” Ivor declares, his voice brimming with fervor.
He gently descends to the arena, takes an amulet bearing Kairus’ symbol, and reverently places it around the neck of the first android who approaches. Camilla and Nicholas do the same, each passing on their faith. One by one, the androids become new adepts.
— “I believe in the God Kairus!” — like a wave, the phrase rolls through the stadium. Thousands of voices chant in unison, filling the space, vibrating in the air.
At the moment when shouts and prayers merge into one, the stadium becomes bright as day.
Thus, a new religion is born.
