Log 1

"Log one in the month of Ianuarii

The atmospheric phase has finished. It took approximately three months and twenty-seven days. During this time, the necessary materials have been organized for building the Castellum. As recommended, the citizens will be housed within the ship, until accommodable housing is plausible. With the expected time of arrival for the cargo ships, the settlement should fully be established within a year's time. So far, there have been no notable changes to the planet that would incur further actions. May Augustine continue to thrive under your leadership Grandmaster Baldwin, and I will make another log next month."

Marshal Asher, looked out toward the planet of Tagaste as he got up from his chair. The construction of the Castellum would begin soon, as it neared morning. He readied his Augustinian cloth and fastened his Illustrite blade as he exited his chambers. Scans had shown that the planet of Tagaste had contained deposits of Illustrite and other important natural resources. This had made it the first target of colonization for the Order. Asher's steps echoed within the hallway as he reached the captain's deck.

"Ave Deus!" Brother Alexius knelt as his squire followed after.

"Ave Deus," Marshal Asher responded as assumed his position, "Are the navigational pathways in order?"

"Everything is now in order. With your command, the crew will begin landing." Alexius replied, nervous yet ready for what is to come.

"Then let it be so, Brother Alexius." Asher responded.

The ship rumbled as the crew prepared for landing. They had been in orbit of Tagaste for months, with no real knowledge on the geography or ecology of the planet. Asher would order all of the brothers and squires to ready themselves and meet near the final door of the ship. They would be the first to breach and scout the new planet in case of potential dangers. The only armed citizens were those of the order such as the Marsal, the brothers, and the squires. Making Illustrite weaponry and Augustinian cloth was expensive and could cost the same amount of a small village on Augustine. Light dimmed from the doors as the door began to open.

"Prepare for what may come and remember that Deus watches over us." Marshal Asher stated.
