Chapter 30

With his vision completely white, Bob recognised the space he was in, although it was slightly different. The endless sea of whiteness actually now had texture, with the longer he stared at it, he realised it was a sea of clouds. Walking forwards, he saw, heard and smelled nothing.

  "Hello!......HELLOOOOO!"

After shouting out several times, Bob shook his head in frustration and placed his hands on his hips, while he spoke to himself.

"This place is so weird, it definitely reminds me of the place I was at when I first gained my Necromancer abilities....A skull, there was a skull last time though"

As if responding to his words, the familiar abnormally large Human skull appeared in front of him. Slowly drifting forwards, it appeared out of the sea of clouds. Its eye sockets were filled with red flames. Different though from last time, the flames almost seemed like they had sentience. The skull itself when looking closely, also had red strands covering a lot of its surface, although they were too thin to hide the bone of the skull.

"Huh, is that blood vessels?....No, tendons, flesh?"

Bob reached a hand out towards the floating skull, his fingers outstretched. Just before they made contact, Bob's vision went black with a searing pain afflicting his mind.

  "Arghhhh!"

Bob's eyes opened wide, his body sat up and he was greeted with the sight of the real world. He saw that he was in a small room with metal walls, and sat on a bed with a thin green, beaten mattress. His black spear was stood up in the corner of the room, its blade tip pointing high and still shining brightly. The sight of his weapon relieved some of his anxiety.

With the pain in his head, he felt the room actually start to sway. It did not take him long though to realise it was not his head causing the room to sway, but the actual room was moving. Coupled with the smell of salt water that reached his nose, Bob spoke in confusion.

"The sea? I'm in a boat....Where the hell am I?"

Although his question was to no one, an answer came from behind him, as well as the sound of a heavy metal door opening.

"You're on my boat, Red, travelling to your future"

Bob shot up to his feet as he span around to face the owner of the voice. The pain in his head had vanished, his mind was clear as his eyes fully took in the sight before him.

Henrietta was stood in the doorway, clad in a skin tight, black jump suit, her voluptuous curves were clear to the eye. Her red hair cascaded down her back, with wavy strands falling down onto her chest.

"It's you! You brought me here, why? What do you want from me?"

Still with the relaxed smile on her face, Henrietta entered the room and picked up a black bundle of clothes from a table, before she handed them to Bob.

"Hmm many questions Red, many questions......Ahhh, apart of me wants to tease you a bit, but seeing that cute face of yours, I just can't bring myself to.........What do I want? Well that would be you, I want you, in fact I have you! You are my precious Red. You love me as much as I love you, you even escaped the Dungeon so you can be with me.....You're safe in my arms now Red, don't worry!"

Bob's mouth hung open, Henrietta's words bouncing around his mind as he thought of the implications. He chose not to deny the accusations of mutual love. He did feel something, it would be impossible not to after being sexually assaulted numerous times by a beautiful woman.

But love, that he was unsure of.

"You obviously know I'm a monster, an enemy of Humankind. We've met numerous times before, but shouldn't you be killing me, instead of loving me?"

When Bob said his last word, he suddenly found out just how deep her love was.

The temperature in the room instantly spiked, coinciding with a murderous glint in Henrietta's eyes. A deep frown on her face, her body became animated as she replied.

"Kill!? K...K...Kill you, how the fuck could I ever kill the love of my life!?...If anyone even thought of killing you, of harming a single beautiful scale on your body, I would rip them apart and incinerate their soul!...Monster, Human, that means nothing to me, and neither does it to you!....You are in my arms now Red, I'll protect you for eternity, we'll be together in this life and the afterlife!"

Bob's mind was working overtime, to say he was not scared at that moment would be a bold faced lie. Trapped in a metal tin in the middle of the ocean, and with a powerful, fiery woman who was possibly mentally deranged, all he could do was appease her.

There was a word that described this woman, one he had a memory of from the Human he ate.

Yandere, Henrietta is a fully fledged yandere!

"Okay, I get it, I get it...Can you tell me where we are going? Ahhh shit, Marlo! My friend, he's a blind crack head, yeah he's dirty, he stinks, can't talk without cursing, and is that skinny the wind'll blow him away...But, he'll be worrying about me"

The anger on Henrietta's face had vanished and was replaced with that warm smile again, almost as if the anger never happened.

"You're so cute!...Put on those clothes I gave you. I don't mind you being naked in front of me, but no one else is allowed to see you naked, and I mean NO ONE! Understand? Good.....Don't worry about your friend, and your pets, they're all being taken care of.....As to where we are going, to the Restricted Zone, the mainland where Dungeon Breaks and nuclear war happened.....Here, read this"

If you come across this story on Amazon, it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

Even so Bob was a monster, he still was shocked and apprehensive when he heard about their destination. It had long since turned into a place where weak monsters were devoured, and only the most powerful ones resided. That was until they eventually died from the radiation and a new monster took its place. An endless cycle with no solution in sight.

Although the radiation was a lot less near the coast, and somewhat liveable.

Reaching out a hand, Bob took a document consisting of several pages. Deftly gripping it in his claws, he started to read its contents. It contained a fake identity for himself, one of a Human who lived in the mainland with other survivors. He was a Human who had slaughtered many Lizardman, from a Lizardman centred Dungeon. This act had caught the ire of a God like existence within the Dungeon, resulting in him being cursed.

He became what he hated the most, and had been living as a Human turned Lizardman ever since.

The following pages were his detailed back story and answers to any questions he may be asked. It also surprisingly to Bob, contained the plan for him returning as an honest to god, Human citizen, an Adventurer.

The plan was simple enough, he is to catch a ride back as a stowaway in a cargo container, and then be subsequently discovered. That will then ultimately get Henrietta involved, where she will take custody of him using the power of her Guild.

Everyone in the Guild was fully aware of Henrietta's strange quirk, or more accurately her kink. She loved lizards and reptiles, so a Human turned into one, that would be pure nirvana to a woman like her.

Bob took a breath and looked at Henrietta, his powerful gaze making the crimson haired beauty blush.

"You did all of this for me?...Just because you like me? Not because you want me as a weird pet, or you want to study me or something?"

Shyly nodding her head, Henrietta's hands were fidgeting while she replied.

"Mmm. I love you, of course I'll do anything for you, Red.....Keep you as a pet, god no!......Well, maybe on weekends. I'll have to try and find a cute collar"

The last part of Henrietta's words became muffled, as if she was speaking to herself. Unfortunately for the sake of Bob having a normal Human life, he did not hear her last words.

Before Bob could reply, Henrietta quickly spoke again as a thought occurred to her.

"I know it's a bit late to be asking my fiancée, but what's your name? My name is Henrietta, but you can call me Henrii, or wife"

"Fiancée, wife? Well that is the normal Human progression for love I guess......Ermm okay Henrii, my name is Bob"

Upon hearing his words, Henrietta became momentarily lost in thought, repeatedly muttering his name under her breath.

"Bob, Bob, you will need a surname for your fake identity.....How about Irwin?....Mmmm your name Bob, that's what everyone will call you, but can I call you Red?"

Bob was slightly confused, but did not spare it any other thoughts. As far as the naming was concerned, he did not have any strong views.

  "That's fine Henrii"

Henrietta smiled deeply, she was the only one who could call him Red. It was her special name, for her special someone.

After Henrietta chatted with Bob for a while longer, she finally managed to pull herself away from him, and allowed him to get dressed.

The rest of the journey across the water only took another half a day, and in that time, Henrietta talked non stop to her future husband. She drilled him on his fake identity to make sure their were no issues, as well as getting as much personal information as possible from him.

It would not be wrong to say that Henrietta had a separate compartment within her brain, one that held a large file named 'Red', and she was currently stuffing it with fresh information.

Pulling up to the shore, the boat drifted slowly and silently to an old and decrepit dock. The shore had a short stretch of beach, with fine red sand covering its entirety. Just past that was a thick forest, with the many different varieties of trees all growing at odd angles. There were no animal, or even bird noises within the forest, only the sound of the light, waves lapping at the beach.

Bob left the confines of the boat and stepped onto the dock, with the wood creaking under his weight. With his large bulk that consisted of pure muscle, his weight was three times that of a muscular man of the same size.

Quickly getting off it before it collapsed, his feet landed on the soft sand, the strangeness of it being red held his attention. Now dressed in his new clothes, he wore black combat trousers and matching top, with a black hooded cloak over his broad shoulders. His black spear was attached to his back with a special holster, finishing his ensemble.

Unfortunately, he did not have a pair of boots, with non be able to accommodate such large feet and claws. If he ever wished to don a pair, then he would have to have some specially made in the future.

Although the clothes were new, they had been purposefully worn in and scuffed up, so that it did not look strange upon inspection. Even the clothes were sourced from ones only available before the Dungeon Breaks.

Henrietta's contact, or more precisely a smuggler, had an autistic level of attention to detail. A fact that helped Henrietta's mind be at ease.

The noise of a pair of light footsteps came from behind Bob, as Henrietta's voice called out.

"Red sand as well, it's a sign my darling Red.....I will go stay with you until you stowaway in the container, so don't worry"

Bob had read many information filled books on the voyage over, and he knew the source of the red sand at his feet. The nuclear radiation had made the grains of sand very permeable. As such, when the monsters mass slaughtered Humans trying to flee, rivers of blood flowed and covered the beach. The sand being stained red for eternity.

Bob ignored that titbit of information, and turned and smiled. Even so he was a Lizardman, and practically lacked the ability to smile, Henrietta could still tell by the minute changes. He was fully aware of how much effort she had expended for him, and now she was willing to stay in this accursed land with him as well.

"Thank you Henrii. Where is the docks I'm sneaking in the container at? I'm guessing it's not this rickety one?"

Henrietta shook her head lightly upon his question. She was dressed similarly to Bob, with all black clothing, with the cloak hiding her curves, and even her gender if needs be. Her tell tale locks of crimson hair was also no more. With the aid of a small device attached behind her ear, her hair had turned into raven black.

She also had her black whip tightly wound at her hip, and a plethora of small, cutting edge technology on her person.

"No, the docks is 53km away to the North East. The shipment of gathered resources won't be due to leave for another fifteen days, so we've got plenty of time to get there. I also want to use this time for your training. The stronger you are, the better I'll feel about your safety when I'm not around. The combat experience will help for the entry test to the Guild as well"

With his head cocked to the side in confusion, Bob replied.

  "Guild? Entry test? Eh....."

Henrietta gave a light chuckle, walking past him, she gently brushed her hand across his chest.

"Mmmm, my Guild....What did you intend to do, live in the sewers again, only this time legally? Haha"

Bob was struck dumb, that was something he had not even considered. All of his attention was focused on being recognised as Human, and not being imprisoned and dissected. Bob quickly caught himself and chased after Henrietta, who had by that point, vanished into the tree line.

The boat they arrived on had also travelled back out to sea, leaving only some shallow, and quickly vanishing footprints as evidence of their arrival.
