At a crucial end of the first millennia, man became corrupt by the heavenly energy bestowed upon them.
Wars broke out, and at the forefront of said wars was none other than Beatus’ own son, Scien himself. Scien used his powerful magic, and sparked wars between he, and the other two most powerful clans of the world.
Scien secretly resented his father for the way he treated his mother, Ariel. Every night, Scien witnessed her break into tears, constantly weeping and sobbing, sometimes even projecting some of her resentment for Beatus towards him, and it’s for this very reason he swore to her, that Beatus would feel twice the amount of pain that he caused her.
Scien gathered large armies of sorcerers, all using unique kinds of nature spells and abilities, never seen before from man.
Fields were raised, kingdoms fell, and Scien’s wrath was felt. For as long as Scien lived; Beatus, would not see heaven.
Beatus was furious with what he witnessed; it was as though, he hadn’t been the kind and loving father, that he thought he was to his children.
Uniting the Euthenians and Hephaestuns; Beatus put down Scien, but at the cost of losing Hephaestus, as he too would eventually turn coat, and betray Beatus.
After the decade had subsided, and after a long, tiring search; the eyes, would not show themselves. Beatus, had failed.
Heartbroken with the missed opportunity to enter heaven, along with the love of his life eventually slipping away, yet again; Beatus’ heart grew cold, and he forcefully subjugated all clans of men under his will, ruling over them, as supreme emperor of the world.
All Scien clan members were to be hunted, and killed on sight. Members of the Scien clan had greatly dwindled in numbers, in fear of going extinct and failing to carry out Scien’s will, all remaining members went into hiding; alongside Beatus, they too would wait yet another Millennia, and keep the peace, until the eyes showed themselves.
Once the millennia subsided, word spread about a baby born with a mysterious right eye.
The eye had a pitch-black sclera, and the inner parts of it, glowed lime green.
Yes, this was it, this was the eye Beatus had long sought for. The eye surfaced in a clan that had most been peaceful during the decade of peace, after securing it, all that was left was to find the other side of the pair.
Unfortunately for Beatus: a member of the Scien clan was the one in possession of the eye, and it was out of the Scien clan, where a man rose to challenge Beatus’ rule.
Rafiki heard of Beatus’ intentions to take the eye away from the child, and contested him; stating that no one, not even a god, had the authority to take away the child’s heavenly gift.
When word of this reached Beatus, he was nothing but infuriated; he, who had been the rightful owner of the eyes, was being denied ownership? And all for the sake of a child? Furious, Beatus sent his armies, and word quickly returned informing of his army’s defeat.
Frustrated, Beatus grew in anger, but fear slowly followed.
Who was this man? Capable of warding off a thousand men? Not just any men, but Euthenians? And, all by himself? Beatus decided to meet him personally, unbeknownst to him; Rafiki already stood at the forefront of his castle, patiently waiting for Beatus with his arms folded, just beyond the draw bridge.
“Beatus! Your destiny! Has arrived! Rise! and take your stance!” The man uttered. Beatus slowly descended from his castle, taking his stand on the far side of the draw bridge.
“And just who do you think you are! Denying me? My right, to enter heaven?” Beatus shouted in anger.

“The child is born with a gift! a gift that you!” Rafiki pointed towards Beatus. “Have no right! to take away! for your own! Personal! Gain!” Rafiki replied.
“Those eyes belong to me! I’m the rightful owner! They’re the whole reason I’m even here to begin with!” Beatus exclaimed.
“Save your breath god! before I make a fool out of you,” Rafiki now intimidatingly walked towards Beatus.
“I guess it’s useless trying to argue with a man as pitiful as you!” Unsheathing one of his divine, double-edged swords; Beatus prepared to take out Rafiki with a single slash, but Rafiki, was no ordinary human.
Rafiki is a sorcerer well versed in spirit magic, magic that no one else in his clan is even capable of using.
Rafiki was so gifted, and so well versed in various techniques, that he was able to use mana to tap into the spirit world, and draw energy from there; a feat, not even Beatus himself could achieve, let alone fathom doing.
With the swing of his blade, Beatus sent forth a powerful slash. Rafiki used a repulsion spell, and sent the slash back with twice the force; taking out Beatus, and half of his castle along with him.
Rafiki charged towards Betus, and engaged him in hand-to-hand combat as soon as he left a pile rubble, an area in which Beatus heavily lacked.
Finding himself on the back foot, Beatus decided to withdraw, and keep his distance from the sorcerer; sending slashes his way would be more effective in order to avoid getting hit.
Rafiki detested the way in which the god before him fought, and tapped into spirit enlightenment, drastically changing the course of the fight.
As quick as a flash, Rafiki instantly closed the distance between he and Beatus. Now in close quarters, Rafiki bombarded the fallen angel with an array of earthshaking strikes and blows, leveling the surrounding castle buildings.
The sorcerer Beatus faced was overwhelmingly powerful, it was unlike anything he had ever seen before; each strike seemed to feel harder than the last.
Seeing no way out of his situation, Beatus came to the conclusion that the only outlet he had, was in killing the two children in possession of the eyes, and wait yet another millennium; a time in which a sorcerer like Rafiki, wouldn’t exist.
Beatus acted quick, and let out a bright flash of light known as the divine light, temporarily blinding Rafiki.
Standing on the shores west of Euthenia, Beatus let out a surge of energy into his divine blade the equivalent of a small solar flare, and let out a slash that completely leveled everything present in the western hemisphere; leaving no chance for the child’s survival, or the survival of any existing Scien clan members.
By the time Rafiki arrived on shore, Beatus quickly rushed to his palace in a flash of light, leaving Rafiki trying to wrap his head around what business Beatus had, being there.
After figuring it out, Rafiki quickly followed close behind, “Coward! face me like the god you are! and show me who the man is!” Rafiki exclaimed raging with emotions.
Rafiki made it to the royal palace and witnessed Beatus with the baby in hand, and a divine sword in the other; the two began walking counter clockwise.
“I’ll admit, you are quite strong for a man, but, being a man does come with its downsides. Eventually, you’ll wither away, and die of old age. The mana in you might prolong your life a little, but at the end of the day, I know that you’re not lasting a millennium. Guess I won’t be seeing you any time soon!” Beatus explained, and ran the blade through the child.
Beatus tried to run away, but Rafiki wouldn’t let him get away without a lesson.
Rafiki used the arts of the twin Loong fist, and summoned two powerful spirit Loong. Blasting Beatus out of the palace, Rafiki kept the pressure on him, refusing to let him breathe.
With earth shattering blows that changed the face of the planet; Rafiki and the two Loong were engaged in dance-like movements, and each blow that he struck Beatus with, stripped away large portions of his mana.
Beatus: in desperation, saved a spell to get out of tight situations such as the one he faced now, and teleported himself away. Rafiki: although triumphed, felt a certain hollowness in his heart; a void left behind by the death of the two children, and every life lost that day that he swore to protect.
Rafiki went on to become hailed as the first ever sorcerer supreme, and would eventually be succeeded by a second sorcerer supreme; who built schools of sorcery, in order to pass on the visionary sorcery society, that Scien himself, so desperately fought for.
Beatus: battered and bruised, coughed up blood, and prepared himself a coffin. “One day, once I get out of this place. Everyone will pay!” Beatus sniffed.
“They’ll pay for what they did to me!” Spoken in deep, cracking tones, as he leaned over the coffin with tear filled eyes.
The coffin Beatus prepared, was one in which; once resided in, would restore him to perfect health, and aid him in building his strength, without any physical training for the next millennia.
Beatus placed a spell on the coffin, and the coffin would only release once the eyes of truth, as a pair; found their way into the skull of a human.
Beatus let fate decide whether or not man would be able to come to terms, and gather the eyes.
Once that happened: all that Beatus had to do, was take it from the person in question, who was triumphant enough in that endeavor.
By then, Beatus would have been at full strength, but for now; Beatus would have to go into an eternal slumber, only to wake, once the set conditions were met.
