As they continued on the tunnel occasionally forked they kept to the right marking each wall until they came to a dead end.

  Well why don't we rest here and eat something then we'll head back Jay said already setting up a tin of compacted charcoal and a little hanging pot.

  Okay I'll take First Watch Noah says turning around to watch the cave behind them

  They ate some baked beans in a can until about 10 minutes in one of the same creatures turned into the tunnel

  shit Noah said as he raised his bow and shot it

  Hearing that Leo immediately grabbed his bow and started to knock an arrow and Jay grabbed his machete

  Rushing from Beyond the turn two more of the creatures appeared one was immediately killed by Jay's lightning strike and Leo was able to kill the other just a second later when another one came Rush in and immediately turned around when it was hit in the Head by Noah.

  We can't let them know we're here Noah said

  Fair assessment Jay said now let's finish eating and get back to our house

  They finished eating and slowly made their way back to the house when they got there it was much the same except there was a group of them in their basement three of them one of them was quickly shot in the head by Noah another was Tried by Jay's Lightning Strike and Leo immediately swung around firing a shot at the last one

  I hope they aren't coordinated Jay said

  I don't think they can use tools so I doubt they are Leo replied

  Did you guys get a level up too Jay said as he took stock of the basement making sure that nothing had been destroyed

  We get stealth we're just able to hide better Leo said

  Oh nice Jay said as he looked at his notification

  I got a healing ability that'll be useful Jay said as he cast the growth on himself feeling a warmth fill his body as the wound on his leg closed

  Lucky when are we going to get anything exciting Noah said

  I don't know whatever the system gives something exciting to us Leo says

  Well you always had to bed and I'll wake you up when it's your turn for watch

  Thanks, Dad Noah says As Noah and Leo climb to bed

  Jay keeps an eye tunnel entrance as his kids sleep nothing happens

  Jay shakes Noah's and Jay's shoulders time for your watch

  mhh one more minute Dad Leo says pulling the blanket over his head

  No, you need to get up

  Fine Noah and Leo say as they get up and prepare for watch

  Good night boys Jay says as he heads to bed

  Noah and Leo keep an eye on the tunnel until the watch is over

  Noah poked his dad time to wake up time to wake up

  It's fine I'm up Jay said as he got up anything happened during your watch

  Well that's good to hear let me get my gear back on then let's head out

  Do we have to go back into the tunnels Leo said

  Not really but two things one I want to know where these things are coming from and two I kind of feel a strange pull toward something in that direction

  And you didn't think to tell us Noah said

  I didn't want to mention it because it would be kind of awkward Maybe

  So basically over thought mentioning it to us and so didn't mention it Leo said

  Yes yes yes now let's get going Jay said as he put his stuff on

  They would back the last fork in the path before the dead end not encountering anything on the way

  According to the basic map that I've drawn, this is the last fork before the dead end that we camped at last time Leo said

  Okay so we go left this time Jerry said

  They continue down the left path until they encounter another dead-end

  Well turn back and go back to the unexplored intersection Leo says

  Yep

  They continued backtracking and going down different paths until they found another group of the creatures but they had a campfire this time.

  That's different Leo says It doesn't seem like they know how to use tools yet they have a campfire.

  Okay guys this means that there'll probably be different versions and probably stronger versions if we think of video games so watch out for any different ones and if there are Target them immediately got it Jay says

  Got it the boys respond

  The usual plan Jay says

  Noah starts the fight by shooting the closest one in the head he then spins around letting Leo fire a shot which misses not killing it but getting it right across the eye Jay then follows up with two lightning strikes killing two more then starts rushing in as Noah reloads and kills another one but from behind them a creature similar but a bit larger and sturdier appears from behind them.

  One from behind Leo shouts firing an arrow at it which it just barely misses as the creature Ducks out of the way the arrow still hitting its ear and taking it clean off.

  Shit should have saved a lightning strike Jay then draws his bow and one more in the group Noah you got the rest of the group Jay says as he turns around to face off against the stronger one.

  Ye Noah says as he draws his bow and kills one he then draws his daggers

  Leo fires another shot at the creature hitting it in its eye as it rushes forward Jay steps in front and tries to Perry the swing of its blade he manages to do so but his arm gets cut he lashes back out and manages to strike the creature letting Leo get the final shot in killing it
