They keep moving forward, fighting wave after wave of this Cowman... It remained the same.... as before freeze and smack!.

  But they soon discovered something strange, the number of Cowman inside one group was increasing!

  Eventually, they discovered 20 Cowman in one group!

  This makes Rose have a cold sweat as she uses most of her power to freeze this Cowman!

  Anne and Lila can’t help much too and the other adventurer even starts to get tired and there are many Cowman that still freezing!

  Garen count on it and there are still 12 Cowman that are not being taken care of by them….

  Rose's mana start to dwindle and she even chug two mana potions this time!

  This was the longest fight they ever fought!

  When they finished this group of Cowman Rose let them rest! Or rather it was her that can’t handle this fight anymore…

  “let’s rest for now, it seems we will find the core soon!” Rose was excited about this! As it was what they say in the textbook…. the more enemy number the closest they were to the core! even though she feels a bit weird... it is not supposed to be this fast but what can she do? each dungeon was different and unique.

  The others of course knew about this too so they quickly look for a place to safely rest and even fill their stomach first.

  But Garen was not optimistic about this fight!

  Fighting against 20 Cowman already makes his sister panting like that what if they fight 30? 40? 50? what's more there is the boss too!

  And it seems Rose understands this too, this time she rests much longer and even prepares all of her mana potions!

  Garen can only say “ Sis did you believe we can do this ?”

  Rose shakes her head “We can try first.. at most we just run!”

  Garen let out a sigh. It appears that his sister was also pessimistic, so it was a dead end.... maybe, but it was only a few days of exploring so given a little time to recruit more members and preparation, they might be able to conquer this dungeon in another month!

  When the leader Cow arrives at Rose's magical range, she immediately tries to freeze it! However, it appears that the effect was not very good!

  It does slow it down, but it does not stop or freeze at all!

  Lila soon starts throwing ten lava balls at this Cow! But not like before, this one brandished its massive sword and slapped a few lava balls away!

  The sword was slightly melted, but the ball was still thrown away! A few lava balls hit this Cow, causing it to roar in pain!

  But it was much more difficult to handle as it continued to charge forward! Fortunately, Lila can still hurl lava balls at it so she throws a few lava balls again.

  It deflected some but was hit by other lava balls, eventually when it was so close Anne move to confront it!

  The Cow see an opponent that come close so it even roar angrily and swung its big sword!

  Anne try to dodge it but who know that it was so fast that she can’t dodge it at all! In the end, she swung her mace at the sword! As to use her shield to defend… Anne never tries it before so she is much more confident with her mace…

  ‘clang!’ a ringing sound can be heard and Anne was suppressed! This makes this gentle-looking girl shocked! This Cow's weapons have a small dent but it does not budge much… while her mace wavering a bit because of this Cow's raw power…

  Rose and Lila do everything they can to keep the other normal Cow at bay! Because there were so many other cowmen! Even Rose missed some and they kept charging!

  Anne was still entangled with this leader Cow, and whenever it swung the big sword, Anne could only swing her mace!

  This makes them stuck at a balance... still, Anne's physique was smaller and her stamina not as strong as a cow's... so this leader cow will have an advantage sooner!

  still, her raw power was great so each time Anne deflect the iron sword it make the cow have a small opening! Lila took this opportunity to throw a few lava balls toward the leader Cow and it don’t have a choice but defend itself!

  the Cow sees this, he knows Anne will fall sooner or later and it knows how hurt being burned by this ball-like thing, so he chooses to deflect this ball upward! but this make Anne a chance to attack!

  What she do was swing her mace toward this Cow's waist! And soon a roar of pain can be heard and one even sees a huge figure fly a few meters after being struck by Anne's attack!

  This makes Rose start to direct her power to this leader Cow! She can only slow it a bit more for Lila to throw ten lava balls!

  this time Rose has already emptied her fourth mana potion…..

  She doesn’t know why Lila doesn’t need any of this potion even after she gives her one.

  In the end, she can only drink it all herself!

  This combination of Rose and Lila makes the leader Cow roar in pain! And Anne is already close in and smashing her mace toward this Cow Head!

  Soon the battle finished but this time some people got injured as Rose's power diminished, some cowmen got out of their freezing state and hurt a few people of course they were killed in the end by Lila or drowned by a ranged attack from the other adventurer.

  They know that this will be the end of this exploration, as they are not strong enough to continue!

  Some of them even sit down on the ground as keep firing arrows or magic almost depleting all their energy and potions….

  Even constantly drinking potions does not mean they have infinite mana, Rose is already so Pale and even lay down on the Ground.

  Lila that sees this even screams “Aunt Rose!” with that she checks Rose's condition, Garen can only come forward to see too.

  In the end, he says “ Alright let’s get back from this dungeon first we need time to rest, it wise to retreat while we have low casualty!” Garen shakes his head.

  Other adventurers that hear this don’t know what to say, some were stubborn and don’t want to follow his command, but seeing their situation is not good they can't say much as retreat was what they can do!

  Even if they wait for Rose to reach her peak and continue to explore in the next battle, they cannot guarantee that there will be low casualties like this one, perhaps many of them will die!

  So they can only pack their thing and slowly move back to the dungeon entrance!

  Seeing people coming back from the dungeon wounded made these two ladies look at these people anxiously…. as Rose, Anne, and Garen were not coming with them!

  Well, in the end, they sigh in relief when they see them in the logistics car...

  Rose's complexion was better but still so pale this made Cindy's heart almost stop!

  “Big sist!" She quickly comes toward the car where Rose and the others get out.
